This is certainly a work in progress!I am a mixed media artist, healer, mom, wife, muser, lover of the natural world. I am learning always about how to listen with care to what's inside that wants to be expressed, brought out into the light of day...to the stories and adventures of people I care about, and to the folks I share this world with, to honor life's impulses and flow and act to make real the dreams I hold within. Illumination scroll lookey!

hi guys! just a quick post to show u a bit of the leather bound scroll i'm working on..remember i 'm taking a working sabbatical? well this is one of the projects, it's a fab. leather scroll that i snagged at last year's king richard's ren. faire.. it's got handmade pages -some really rough and even ripped..love it! so far i've antiqued the edges and started the painting( h2o color, pen, acrylic, gouache) and sketching..it's a tribute to my beloved hildegard of bingen 12th century mystic, composer, poet, artist, physician, herbalist and all around kick ass wise woman....here's a peek! i am having soooo much fun;) xx
